Introduction
Overview
This module explores the educational integration of migrant children within the EU, in a context shaped by increased mobility and humanitarian crises. Access to education is not only a fundamental right but also an essential pillar of social stability and European prosperity.
The module provides a solid theoretical foundation regarding children's fundamental rights, the education systems of EU member states, and practical solutions for overcoming linguistic and cultural barriers. Participants will learn how to navigate European school systems, protect the rights of minors, and create an inclusive school environment that fosters a sense of belonging and academic success. Through microlearning and interactive activities, this course transforms complex challenges into concrete action steps for children, teachers, parents, and authorities. Estimated completion time: 15 minutes.
Aim
The purpose of this module is to provide stakeholders with an essential tool for promoting inclusion, equality, and the active participation of all students, including those from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups, in alignment with European Union values and recommendations.
